For Matteo Santoiemma that of I Parieti is a story of stones, families and love.
The company, to which the lands and the family farm refer, is in Gioia del Colle - in Contrada Montursi - and produces and processes its own products: grapes, olives and cereals.

A composition of indigenous varieties with blends that may vary according to the vintage. The members of this family are so closely tied to their territorial context, that they are named after some rather suggestive dialect expressions that are still in use today.

Primitivo Puglia IGT

Mostly from spur-pruned and partially from bush-trained vines, on soils of different nature: calcareous with terra rossa (red earth) and tufaceous, generating the rich and diverse shades of this wine. Fermentation occurs spontaneously in open vats, partly de-stemmed and partly whole bunch, and is completed between 7 and 10 days, accompanied by light pumping over and followed by ageing in steel vats.
